But anyway, here are a few books I've been reading:
Daughter of Smoke and Bone, by Laini Taylor I couldn't believe my good fortune at getting an advanced readers copy. Laini Taylor knows how to spin a tale. Her imagination is a wondrous thing, and her writing skill is exceptional. Did I love it? Review forthcoming.
Chime by Franny Billingsly *Creative goodness*
If I Stay by Gayle Forman *Un-put-downable, heart-in-a-vise, tear jerker*
The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien *Greatness, heart-wrenching, a new classic, must read*
Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell *Beautiful, lyrical*
Keeping Corner by Kashmira Seth *Interesting*
Stay tuned for reviews!

Be well,
I am not blogging at the moment, but hope to be doing so again soon. No worries about not posting much. Your blog is in my google reader. ;)
ReplyDeleteI voted for Harry Potter because you really need to see the final movie sooner vs later. It is full of awesomeness!
So happy to hear that you read Chime! I can't wait to read your review! I just got Daughter of Smoke and Bone last week and I can't wait to read it!! Also, I love If I Stay and Where She Went is just as amazing, if not more!
ReplyDeleteI also voted for Harry. Plus book 3 is where the series starts getting amazing!
The Things They Carried is a favorite of mine. It's one of the absolute best war books I've ever read.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read Daughter of Smoke and Bone, but the title is breathtaking.
