This trailer for The Hunger Games made me shiver, and tears welled in my eyes as Katniss volunteers for Prim. The haunting four notes at the end, Rue's whistle, makes my heart ache. Who has two thumbs and will be a sobbing, snotty mess during the movie? This girl.
Jennifer Lawrence nails Katniss Everdeen, delivering strong gut-twisting, emotional scenes. OMG. It's torture waiting for this movie. Want. It. Now.
Initially I wasn't impressed by Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark but now I think he can totally pull it off. Lenny Kravitz as Cinna doesn't feel like a good fit to me; he's not as charasmatic as my perception of Cinna.
What do you think of the latest trailer, and the actors?
How funny - I totally didn't realise that was Lenny Kravitz! I would never have expected to see him in a movie at all, let alone one like this, so it's a real surprise! I love a bit of Lenny so I don't mind at all! ;) But I agree with you on Peeta - when I first saw him in the trailer I felt really disappointed, but really if that's my reaction then they've nailed the casting, right? I'm looking forward to this movie too.
